Friday food discussion: Fresh squeezed orange juice is trash

please give me minute maid or tropicana any day...i have never had a glass of fresh squeezed OJ that taste better or is more regresing than storebought

on the flip, fresh lemonade absolutely kills anything you get in a bottle/carton/jug

i don't drink OJ out the country, barely drink it here...but there's aways way better juice options at a resort than boring ass OJ. that said, produce is absolutely better in multiple countries

Tropicana is basically just watered down oj, with added coloring to make it as yellow as non watered down oj, added sweetners to cover up its watered down flavor, and a thickening agent to give it the same consistency of none watered down oj.

essentially its like stepped on red magic coke frank lucas complained about in american gangster.

give me the the 100% blue magic oj. i can water it down and add sugar and food coloring at home myself if i felt so inclined. shyt is the same price anyway.

Fun fact: when I worked at Panera Bread they advertised their lemonade as freshly squeezed. When in reality we would put the frozen concentrate in a bucket in the back and pour mad water in it and stirred till it all blended together. Than we put some lemon slices in it

You just too used to drinking sugar. Fresh squeezed OJ with good ripe oranges are top tier. But I agree with the lemonade take. Chick-fil-A can lowkey replicate the fresh squeezed lemonade taste
