that's a horrible idea.

Dallas won because they played big as well. Without Lively /Gafford they lose all those close games.

If you go small, they shoot better than you and even if they're smaller, have more size than you. Playing half court is you beat them, especially late.
Dallas doesn’t have the top end offensive talent that Lakers have.

Plus this Timberwolves team is far worse this year than last year

They go small, and Conley gets played off the floor they have no PG besides Ant

That team last year had 2 7 footers. Not the same this year, they are gonna play Gobert off the court. He's not good enough offensively to punish us enough for going small.

Not exactly far worse. They're much better offensively.

Lively was 16/16 in the WCF. Gafford was 24/32, and a good chunk of that was catching lobs. If Hayes can't do something similar, then they'll put their least impactful defender on him.

There's two things they're god awful at: close games (clutch) and playing against bad teams. They're good on the road and good against good teams. If only Luka and LeBron are scoring, they can live with that. Reaves and/or Hayes needs to shine and they may have a guard that can give Reaves fits.

We just need decent minutes and that will be enough. He not playing in crunch time.
You'd be optmistic to expect decent minutes out of Hayes.

I still expect y'all to progress, but the T'Wolves biggest advantage over y'all can't be underestimated. I think y'all best bet is to force Minny to go small rather than relying on him to be a key contributor. Having to battle against Rudy, Randle and McDaniels shouldn't be something that the Lakers lean into. Y'all wanna stretch them out as much as possible rather than shrinking the floor.

Lakers should handle the Timbwewolves pretty easily. The Rockets with their size and athleticism is a team I'm scared of. Timberwolves have athleticism but not to that extent.

Nico did the right thing.
Anybody looking at Luka run up the court last night should be able to see exactly what the Mavs were talking about
Basketball wise, I can see why you’d do it. Belicheck rule: rather get rid of someone a year early rather than a year late.
Nico knew what he was talking about :yeshrug:
That goof ball @Gil Scott-Heroin was gassing JJ Redikk up after they beat a few bad teams and now he’s nowhere to be found
Y'all better make room for more embarrassing @Squirrel The Wrong Man takes. There's plenty more to come.
