We ran into the wrong team in the 1st round. Blaming Luka or Bron at this point is crazy. Yeah Luka is a bad defender but his offense gives his team a chance in most game. Yeah Bron is getting overpaid but he also was willing to take a pay cut for a decent player. Lukas definitely going to be working out with Bron this off season and id almost guarantee he'll be giving effort on defense next season. Bron is gonna take a paycut for help this off season too. Blaming anything besides the depth and no big man is crazy. The way Bron was carrying and the way the team was defending when Ad was out combined with Luka coming i fell for the okie doke and thought we could make a deep run but no center and running into the Wolves 1st round was the worst combo of things that could happen.

Easy to say in hindsight.

You can't just Monday morning quarterback this shyt as if resting that player here and bringing in that player there would've made any notable change to what happened.

They've rested starters to start the 4th in every game (prior to Game 4), and they've still struggled to generate offense and lost out in every one of them. You can't then suggest resting them in this 4th quarter would've changed anything if it hadn't changed anything in the last three games. I gather one of the main reasons why JJ wanted to run with that same lineup to start the 4th is because of the very fact all the other bench lineups in all the other 4th quarters didn't work out.

They've struggled in every single 4th quarter, no matter the lineup and no matter who gets rest.

And the reason why they struggle is due to the accumulation of expended energy and wear and tear over the first three quarters going up against a bigger, and more physical/athletic team.

Or maybe those three aren't to blame, and it's the fact they don't have one legit big is the real reason why they find themselves down 1-3. I don't know why there's this obsession with blaming parties who aren't ultimately at fault.

Blame should be squarely on whoever's idea it was to run win Jaxson Hayes and Alex Len as frontcourt depth into the playoffs.

It seems most of the possessions is a Luka or Lebron iso play just hunting defenders they think they can get a shot on.

I still can't believe JJ played the same five guys the entire second half. This loss is on him and nobody else. Luka, LeBron, Rui, DFS and Reaves did everything they could. You couldn't ask for anything more from them given the circumstances.

To go all-in and not give anybody rest in the second half is something you do in an elimination game. This was a 1-2 series and they had a ten point lead going into the fourth. You're the coach. Figure something the fukk out.

Roll Vando, Gabe, Goodwin and Hayes out there for a little bit and let them muck it up. Your team will struggle to score but so will theirs. That's a situation to throw Knecht out as well and hope for some instant offense. I do not like how JJ has buried him. He is their only spark plug option off the bench.
