This is generally when I know how to discuss a team with someone. No amount of hope or faith was gonna help them. That’s been the problem the last few years posters having delusions about the team. We spent two seasons slandering Ham because expectations were too high for a mid team.

It’s like people don’t know how to just enjoy the sport. Most of these wild takes & “hope” come from a certain demo. The other are legit fans who just don’t know how to watch the team any other way.

I get what you are saying, but to be fair, I have always been a delusional Laker fan. I have been rooting for the team to win a championship every season even when I knew it was not possible. shyt I was rooting for Robert Sacre and Tarik Black hoping they would be top 10 centers when Lakers were really down bad.

I don't think I can watch a whole Lakers season any other way but being delusional, it's not fun that way

Jeff Teague is right, and you could tell the whole series.

Lebron stans always talking about how game 1 is "feel out" games, but don't want to acknowledge that he is just declining. Lebron knows it too which is why his care is fading away, he losing confidence.
