This is generally when I know how to discuss a team with someone. No amount of hope or faith was gonna help them. That’s been the problem the last few years posters having delusions about the team. We spent two seasons slandering Ham because expectations were too high for a mid team.

JJ overachieved in the regular season. But he gets grace in year #1 because of that, but also because he actually calls fukn timeouts, doesn’t CONSISTENTLY have them in his back pocket when the game is over, is pretty good with his challenges, gives a chit about the game, isn’t whining to fans how “they live and die with every game”, shows fire on the sideline when the team comes out flat, actually plays his best players instead of benching them for weeks

Any brehs in here got a realistic off season strategy, definitely need bigs but who is the main question and hopefully Bron opts out and goes for a smaller contract so there's more money to work with.

1. Fire JJ Redikk. [Arrogant. Not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Here because LeBron and him are friends/podcast co-hosts/wine fans. 0% chance -unless Greg Popovic and Phil Jackson themselves mentor him day in day out and he does a 180 in attitude and a 1,000% increase in coaching skills - do the Lakers go anywhere with this coach.

2. Do whatever is needed to get Giannis, including Reaves as a trade asset.

AR15 is great. This is not about the poor series play - he is simply the biggest asset to start building a package around for Giannis.Luka-LeBron-Giannis is a serious big 3. With a great supporting squad + an experienced coach = the Lakers are a contender.

3. LeBron needs to really look in the mirror and find that killer in him. Perhaps he needs a mental coach, a different nutritionist, to watch Kobe documentaries, to stop doing 10 side projects. But this LeBron laughing with opponents is not in that championship mindset he normally is in.
