Loved this video and went exactly with what I was saying. As the video showed Hayes was looking directly for Rudy and putting a body on him. He was forcing the outside defender to collapse in on him as the roll man which opened up shots on the outside. Multiple examples in the video of other defenders being out of position or getting blown by leading to him picking up fouls and you have box score watchers blaming it all on him. Unplayable to me was an Alex Len who provided no positives while being a net negative. Hayes had more than enough positives to make up for any mistakes he was making. With such bad perimeter defenders and with getting killed on the boards it made no damn sense not to give Hayes more minutes.
