Yeah we won 5......WHEN WE WERE CONTENDERS,
We were NEVER front runners with Kobe.
We werent stackpiling HOFers and hyping up the team every year only to lose in the first round and make excuses.
Kobe's career was Shaq and Pau that's it. Bron's career on the LAkers has been AD, Russell Westbrook no wait he really wanted Derozan, then Luka, 4 different coaches, a million blame games, didnt show up for the memorial or the statue, it was DLO's fault, Ham's fault, we need a center, foh.
When was Kobe smiling and giggling when we were a contending team? When was Kobe smiling and giggling IN THE PLAYOFFS
Yeah you're right it's the Lakers thread......and Kobe is a Lakers legend. So when he fukking dies or has his statue unveiling and EVERYONE FROM THE LAKERS is there except Bron, now what? We arent the Los Angeles LeBron's are we? Explain why every other Lakers person could follow procedure but Mr James can't? If it's all about the Lakers though right?
Keep playing those naive ass games, like it's just dudes on the Coli who feel this way, all the while Pablo Torre got everyone in LA to spill the beans on Bron with minimal effort.
You consistently bringing up the memorial is weird and in poor taste.
Hate Bron’s game all you want, but this obsession with whether he did or did not show up to a funeral is some bullshyt. If Kobe’s family ain’t complaining about who did and didn’t attend then NOBODY should.
And if jj wasn’t so stubborn, he would have done this. He’s really smart, so he knows this. That ego is an issue though. Plus minus and off/on numbers are never enough to judge an nba playoff series. You have to look at what is happening.Loved this video and went exactly with what I was saying. As the video showed Hayes was looking directly for Rudy and putting a body on him. He was forcing the outside defender to collapse in on him as the roll man which opened up shots on the outside. Multiple examples in the video of other defenders being out of position or getting blown by leading to him picking up fouls and you have box score watchers blaming it all on him. Unplayable to me was an Alex Len who provided no positives while being a net negative. Hayes had more than enough positives to make up for any mistakes he was making. With such bad perimeter defenders and with getting killed on the boards it made no damn sense not to give Hayes more minutes.
Maybe yall will appreciate this one
How advanced analytics can fail teams. Hayes had bad on/off numbers but provided something they needed clearly if you use eyes and not numbers. JJ’s arrogance has to be dialed down. Good coach though.
watch the video.Nobody was using numbers to determine if Hayes was bad or not, eye test determined he suck.
Seriously is people suffering from memory loss because as I recall JJ tried playing Hayes multiple times throughout the series and he did more harm than good.
Did you actually watch the video? Every highlight is from this series and showing positive plays Hayes made which is crazy considering he only played a combined 30 minutes.Nobody was using numbers to determine if Hayes was bad or not, eye test determined he suck.

Yes I watched the video which is why I put "did more harm than good".Did you actually watch the video? Every highlight is from this series and showing positive plays Hayes made which is crazy considering he only played a combined 30 minutes.
1. As the video showed, to take away the lob threat the defense had to collapse into the paint which then creates open looks for outside shooters. This is basic basketball knowledge. Compare that to the pick and roll normally where Wolves could just switch it and not have to send extra help to the paint and prevent the lob which lead to the Lakers struggling to get good looks.Yes I watched the video which is why I put "did more harm than good".
His few good plays do not offset how horrible he was.
1. No offense because lob threat was taken away.
2. Picks up fouls quickly
3. Hardly gets rebounds
4. Low BBall IQ.
Jaxson Hayes played Jaxson Hayes off the floor.
Lakers defensive rating was literally better when he was off the court for this series.

2. Yes this was a problem but not all his own fault. It's hard when the perimter players are sieves on D.
3. For the rebounds he didn't get the video shows him keeping a decent number alive by either tipping it to a teammate or to the backcourt. He also was going straight for Rudy to limit his rebounds which helps out the team rebounding.
4. You acting like the players that replaced him weren't also fukking up or didn't have their own weaknesses.
