Rich if you reading this, GOAT Bron deserves his Hollywood ending back home! Don't let the GOAT ride out in mediocrity :damn:
I think the Coli is the only place left with sensible laker fans that would rather we actually get going with our fukking team than stay standing pat with some fukked up roster construction around a 41 year old player.

He hasn't even announced that retirement tour, needs to get that shyt going otherwise it will be two more years of this bullshyt that doesn't make any sense. I don't care all the impressive shyt he does as a 41 year old when I'd rather someone be doing impressive shyt for their max contract slot.

I don't even know why the LeGBT want him to stay. To make us mad? Are they tired of packing up and moving themselves? Did they finally conjure some ounce of shame? Idk but we'll all be here next year arguing with each other after getting bounced early

Basketball Gods gave y'all a layup with Mark Williams, but y'all smoked it.

Even with that trade, the bench was giving y'all nothing, so the road would've still ended before the Finals (likely at the hands of a healthy GS or Denver or OKC).
I cant judge that move till we find out the real truth. It's very rare for a team to go back on a deal like this, Lakers staff must have found something they didn't like.

Was it the Lakers staff that found something they didn't like, or did someone within the organization have a last minute change of heart? I have a feeling in hindsight that once they realized how unplayable Hayes was in the playoffs, they wouldn't have nixed that trade.

:hubie:

I just find it strange that he went back to Charlotte and played in nearly every game for the rest of the season, on top of averaging more minutes than he did before.

That would be a bad look and unprofessional, I guess only time will tell with Mark Williams.

And to the contrary, it would be a bad look for Charlotte.

If the Lakers did find something truly alarming about him in their medical examination, then it would be Charlotte who're unprofessional trying to push him onto another team and then recklessly play him starters minutes in nearly every game after the fact. I don't know what came of it (or if they were bluffing), but it would seem strange that they'd contact the NBA to dispute the Lakers' failed physical assessment of him if they had something to hide, themselves.

One side is not being completely upfront in that ordeal.
