I used to love watching Ed Bradley interviews, even as a kid. Joe is obviously transitioning out of Hip Hop and it’s a smart move especially given what’s going on in the music and how the Hip Hop podcast space has become saturated. Not to mention the backstabbing. Look at what’s going on with Math Hoffa.

Great interview and what is said at 25:43 is a major key to life. If you can’t watch the full interview, at least listen to that part.

This man just mentioned Joe Budden and Ed Bradley in the same sentence... :snoop:
Without clicking play the negativity starts. I literally just posted this 3 minutes ago. There’s no way you’ve even given it a watch, even though I timestamped one of the best moments.

Some of y’all nikkas hate for daps. Sad.

Breh listen...I can watch that video a million times, and it still wont change my preception. Joe will never compare to a dupont, peabody, emmy award winning journalist that covered the 64 race riots, vietnam war, cambodian civil war, the Aids crisis in Africa, and sexual abuse in the Catholic church. Will it be an interesting interview? Maybe...But I'm not going to pretend it holds the same journalistic value Ed brought to the world.

Of course he can’t relive those times and admittedly, when put into that perspective, it’s a shallow comparison. I was talking about charisma and pulling things out of the interviewee.

Joe is a good interviewer and personality. He has 2 problems that suggest you shouldn't put him up against Ed Bradley, he's not very informed on things outside of hip-hop and the hip-hop community and 2, he let's his ego get in the way of his product.

If he becomes more worldly, which he won't and if he learns to humble himself in and outside of the interviewing process, which he won't he could go on to do great things in the space because he is engaging and dynamic enough to go beyond hip-hop.
