nikkas was giving Nas the Meek Mill treatment pre-social media. when Takeover dropped. it was a wrap for Nas, Hov was the King and he buried the washed up Nas, that was the sentiment at the time anyway.... no-one gave Nas a shot.. Hot 97 had The Takeover show..... radio stations, including KMEL out here was playing Takeover non-stop, clownin Nas...

Thats what makes the Ether Napalm Bomb even more greater :wow:
but more importantly, he Drops Ether with a 5 MIC ALBUM :mjcry:

thank god he was able to come up with the idea of dissing jay z lips and calling him gay even tho he got the baddest chick in the game :mjcry:

Yeah, I heard Ether for the first time the other day and the jabs were pretty juvenile. A lot of lame gay jokes. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it because I can't stand Jay :pachaha: but eh. :ld:

I think one of the reasons Meek failed, besides being untalented, is that he was trying to recapture that era instead of making his own music.

For better or worse, Back 2 Back was classic Drake. He wasn't trying to copying anyone.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Nas was a dormant giant though, he was the equivalent of a former undisputed heavyweight champ coming off 3 losses. Jay-Z brought out the best him in, Meek doesn't have the same level of skill Nas has so I don't see the comparison.

At this point Meek would have to drop some of the most vicious bars ever penned, cause it's a popularity contest right now, he gotta bring it back to bars and I don't think he can :yeshrug:
