Makes perfect sense to me. Rehab sucks. You get antsy. One day of feeling fine, and your ego is inflated to pre injury levels. So you push your limit and get injured again.

It fits well with the story about his diet. He still thinks he's invincible. Shouldn't he feel that way? He's still on an NBA roster. They're still going out of their way to court him. He hasn't bounced from team to team to team. Compared to 4yrs ago, is he not currently in a tremendously better situation?

It's like the blue chip athlete that has to lose their scholarship and play JUCO before they smarten up and turn their life around.

He hasn't played one game.

I think he still will be a great big man. There is no way he loses his post game thru these injuries. If he ever gets healthy, I expect him to be just as good as he was projected to be our of college. nikka had one of the best post skillset I have ever seen straight out of college.

He might get moved though. If Philly aint liking his attitude, someone else will trade for him as soon as he becomes availiable. Think about teams that might be rebuilding in the near future with currently good rosters, but not good enough to win. I can easily see nikkas like Noah or Randolph ect being thrown out there to secure a possible future if he gets healthy.

He hasn't played a basketball game since March 1, 2014. He's going to be looking at 2.5 years of inactivity. Even the greatest would experience a perceptious drop off, much less a big man with foot and back problems still in his developmental years

I actually like embiid as a prospect and I think the sixers at the time did the right thing drafting him. As a wizards fan id trade for him.

the way hinkie wants to build his contender is simple. The same way golden state built theirs and how my wizards did too. Get a ton of young players then have three or four of them being future cogs. They get playing time and develop. then trade for vets because none will come on their own. wizards did okafor, ariza, Nene. Golden state did Bogut, Iggy, David lee.

now stage one I think they did the right thing moving MCW because he would have ended up another rubio situation. At least they moved on quick. The jury is still out on ja and noel but they might work out.

I thought embiid was the least flawed and the best out of those three but one thing I've learned about these players is talent alone isn't enough because the league is tough and the curve is steep. For you to succeed you have to be obsessed with basketball, obsessed with getting better, competitive and basketball has to be the most fulfilling thing to you. That's where he can fail if these stories are true. He needs to be around Vets asap and people who have been great because of basketball

The Warriors actually signed Andre Iguodala as a free agent.

Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Now with a fukked up foot,he will never be what he was projected to be,ever.
That's not an injury that has long term damage breh, unless of course he made his shyt worse by not wearing the boot. His injury is something that heals, and heals for good. Let's just hope he stays in b ball shape while it's healing.

I would like to know the extent of his 2nd surgery though:patrice:

True.

But if that story is true the nikka is an idiot and really doesn't care about getting healthy,or just doesn't wanna play in Philly
