I know one guy who took a similar path. Went from low level announcer to part-time wrestler to one of the most powerful and delusional dudes in wrestling. All that hard work he put in to finally make it to the top.

Trips got to where he is partly because he was basically the only sober person in the company so he could scheme and plot while Shawn and them are passing out and pissing themselves at the bar. Think about all the dudes who coulda been somebody of they coulda stayed off the drugs and booze. Missing shows, spending your dough, questionable mental states leading to bad decisions. I don't do drugs but I like booze too much to be HHH tho

I have to give Triple H props. He's the #2/3 person in the business now because he married the bosses daughter but before that he still worked his way up. Dude wrestled a main event of Wrestlemania and held the top championship while still in relationships with Chyna. Not saying he didn't kiss any ass along the way(unfortunately in wrestling that's a given) but dude has come a long way.
