It took years, but my family finally accepted my non celebration of holidays. I'm super anti holiday/birthday, the shyt is just stupid to me I understand that we as humans, naturally like to celebrate things, but I just hate the way the shyt is dictated for you. I told my fam some years back that I din't celebrate Thanksgiving, and out of respect for the Indians I choose to fast on that day, and the looked at me like they wanted to beat my ass But to me they the ones who crazy. What the fukk I look like celebrating a holiday like that as a black man

Again, as a black man, why would I celebrate the 4th of July Columbus Day, President's Day and shyt like that.

Don't even get me started on birthdays. That shyt is the worst man. nikkas always coming at you super excited on some what you doing for your birthday shyt. nikka I'm doing the same shyt I always do People be on some, naw you gotta go out and do something. bytch, it's MY birthday, how you gonna dictate what the fukk I wanna do I don't care about no fukking presents or none of that shyt. I do buy the fam shyt and call on their birthdays because the live for that type of shyt, but it's all stupid to me.
