I can't do a job unrelated to my interest long term, and honestly the pay isn't that much greater for entry level positions than a shytty customer service job but I would have piece of mind.

But If I need the money I'm going to put an earnest foot forward and try my best.

The best advice is to be working towards something always until you are satisfied, there is nothing like the feeling of being stuck at shytty job.
