I didn't say Africans, Jamaicans, etc I specifically said Black Americans because that's the only group of black ppl I was referring to, and yes, we are.

For the most part, Asians don't fight against the importance of businesses, nor do cacs, Arabs, latinos, etc if that were the case they wouldn't own so many businesses. You can say "they do it too" all you want, but the amount of businesses doesn't lie. They do not get all angry, offended, and argumentative about owning businesses. We're last in entrepreneurship. I guess you'll say that's a lie too even though it's undeniable. Put your ego aside and look the fukk around at who owns the majority of the businesses, even in our own communities.

I went to private school, buddy. Grew up around mostly white and Asian guys. They do not fight against taking over the family business or the thought of starting one. Black Americans (not the whole Diaspora:comeon:)on the other hand, will argue against entrepreneurship and businesses to death. It's happening in here right now and that's also the case in general. Lol look how mad a lot of you got at Dame Dash just for that breakfast club interview. Sad. You would think starting businesses was some sort of evil, abnormal thing to do based on the backlash and outrage he got.

I have a tech consulting business and I've been encouraging entrepreneurship to other black men since I started (I've done this online and offline). If you don't have a business and aren't out here talking to other black men and boys about it, don't try to tell me how other black men respond to it. You don't even know firsthand.

Breh, I think everyone would agree that more business ownership is necessary whether that entails owning a wing place or the next billion dollar tech company. That message coming from an arrogant unhinged person like the @DrX is causing the fuss.

What about when I say it? Same reaction, and I'm not unhinged either.

What about when @mamba said it? What about when @Trigga says it? Same reaction.

What about when Dame Dash said it? Same reaction.

I respectfully disagree bro, this is largely an AA male issue of not seeing the importance of entrepreneurship, and taking the mere discussion/encouragement of such as some sort of personal attack. I see the same thing outside of the Coli.

money flows in all sorts of directions. you have to figure out how it's moving and get to the spot where there will be enough of it. you have to figure out a way to convince people they need to be giving you their money. it could be a job a business or both. but never delude yourself into thinking they owe you a job. never forget it's their company. the sooner you realize no one owes you anything and that entitlement is the disease in most if not all aspects of life, the sooner you will learn how to be happy, how to prosper and how to win.

Entrepreneurship is not for everyone and is not something I would encourage everyone to do. Too many people jump into it even though they don't have capital, they don't have marketable ideas or products, they don't have awareness of the market (or lack thereof) for what they want to push, and don't have a real passion to eat live and breathe their business.

If people can't handle working with others, the structure of a 9 to 5, or doing things they don't like to do, they will be a horrible boss.

I'm curious as to impetuous of you saying this?:jbhmm: ...especialy in reference/context to "everyone" being an entrepreneur.:patrice:
I have my assumptions as to why you said the above but I'd rather you state those reasons:whoa: ...as opposed to me assuming those reasons :ehh:

entrepreneurship might not be for everyone but if enough nikkas get on their hustle and take advantage of their entrepreneurship skills, they can hire black nikkas so the nikkas who aren't business minded are at least working for a black owned business instead of whitey

That most people just aren't wired like that. I know I'm not. I don't live to work, I work to live. The uncertainties and unlimited liability of trying to make your own business are not for me. When I step out of the office, I no longer have to think about work and I like it that way.

Exactly.

These dudes don't get it:snoop:they keep taking it personally or as an attack on them

Every other group gets it. American nikkas though smh

Like I said before, no other group in America does this to the extent that we do (fight against entrepreneurship to death, and get offended by the discussion/mention of it)

Entrepreneurship and group economics is something other groups know they should do, and do it. They know it creates jobs and circulates money for their own.

Us? We'll get pissed at a nikka who talks about the need for more entrepreneurship like he said some despicable, horrible shyt. shyt is not normal.

How the fukk is saying we need more black entrepreneurs a bad thing?

And this is why other groups will keep starting and passing down businesses and we won't, nikkas will keep getting enraged at the nikkas who dare to bring up business ownership and overall miss the point of why it's being brought up in the first plsce
