Convo picks up around 1:09:00. DJ KastOne (who was present for Enuff's last set IIRC) starts to call out Flex a bit more
Throughout the entire show tho, the overall takeaway being communicated is that the station is owned by venture capitalist who are gutting the station without investing in the talent/relationships/studios and so the station is likely to get worse with moves like this.
For example, when they announced that Enuff got let go, they mentioned that Ebro In the Morning would be on an hour longer now, but they didn't tell the morning show squad and still haven't relayed any new info to them. Also, they tried to force the show to do a weekly interview with Mayor Adams (after he dodged the show for years once he was elected) but they pushed back and said only if Mamdani gets weekly coverage too
