This is not really saying anything. Cee Lo Green "as an artist" is >>>>>>>> than most rappers who regularly appear on Top 10 lists. That said, he's not a better overall MC than those who appear in those lists. He's greater as an artist because he's created great songs where he rapped, produced, and sang on the song. He's also written and produced for other artists. I could make the same argument for Missy Elliott except she's not an elite lyricist, but she's proven to create great songs where rapped, produced, and sang on the song. She's also written and produced for other artists.
