bro literally everybody loves future. it's weird.
I dunno about that, but he's definitely gotten bigger as the years go by. Dude is the luckiest wave rider of this era. He rode Mike Will, then Metro Boomin and then Drake put him
and Metro Boomin on.
Crazy how this took off, especially as they wanted Draco as the single. The success of this is arguably more unexpected than the success of March Madness and that shyt came out of nowhere.
But fair play to him.
The success of Mask Off proves how much memes are important to modern 'hip hop' otherwise known as pop music. Because there are way more casuals in hip hop than ever before and very few know what's actually good/decent hip hop.
If you look in the album discussion in The Booth, it was pretty much only me and maybe one other person saying "Mask Off is the joint - everything else is forgettable." Posters were talking about shytty stuff like "Feds Did A Sweep", "Draco", and "Rent Money."

It wasn't till the memes shortly after with all the emphasis on flutes that the song started taking off. And of course, Future, being the pop artist he's always been, linking up with Maroon 5 and Ellen brings all the casuals out.
