Well, putting his hand on a cop after being given a command is a show of "defiance". They'll probably get excessive use of force.
My opinion, they ramped up'ed their level of aggression too fast. They may have had an APB on a suspect and he matched that description. Considering his location, that would have prompted them to pull over to talk to him. But even then, if he put his arm out to the chest of the cop, all it would have taken was a simple <secret jiukitsu move> and he would have had him under control without needing to use the baton.

Yeah. Dude may lose this case because he exhibitited combative behavior. The cops didn't have to do all that xtra shhyt to the kid. But you can't extend your arm out on a cops chest like "hold on, what are u doin" the cops will fucc u up.

Although the officers were a couple of scumbags just looking for a reason, it wasn't a smart move for dude to touch the cop, I admit. You NEVERRRRR touch a cop, for they'll probably get away with anything they do to you, since they wearing that badge. Especially LAPD (I know, for I'm from LA, and I would avoid them fools AT ALL COSTS when I lived out there). And I just love the fact they had to call for about 15 more of their boys just for that one person. Their like legal gangbangers...
