Former Bad Boy artist, "G-Dep," also known by his real name, Trevell Coleman, spoke about why he decided in 2011 to confess to a murder he committed during a robbery attempt in 1993. Although, the rapper had gotten away with the crime for almost 18 years, he says it didn't feel that way to him, "I didn't feel free and clear." He explained, "Every day, I was faced with this memory and this heinous act, that really didn't have to happen."

Puff's verse on Let's Get It is low-key the hottest verse he ever dropped. He stole the show on this one.

Also, this dropped right around the time of his case and there was an alternate version with some different lyrics that they changed so they wouldn't use it against him:

This version he says "love 2 things, my family, my music"
The OG version he says "love 2 things, my MONEY, my music"

Also, on the OG at the end he says "Not guilty plus I'm FILTHY"

Oh and on topic, hard to believe dude turned himself in, but if it helps his soul than so be it. I'm sure it'll look better in God's eyes.
