G Dep — Off The Count (concept album about his time locked up)

This album came out in February and I didn't even know smh

To me this is straight up fire. It's such a blessing to receive this, as a big Dep fan who gave up on ever hearing something solid from him again a long time ago. Dep's flow and voice are still very intact and he put his heart and soul into the writing.

Honestly it should be in the conversation of great hip hop concept albums that actually take the concept/narrative seriously
