Doc was cool, I would have liked more of a look at the cats who helped contribute to the sound, in addition to what we got.

Interviews with dudes like Quik and Big Hutch who were doing their thing parallel to Snoop and them would have added something. IMO :yeshrug:

Most surprising thing about the documentary didn't even have to do with G-Funk music.
TIL that Parliament was a regular Motown group before they became Funkadelic

Yeah, you should watch Tales From The Tour Bus. Idr which season covered funk. It was on YouTube but got taken down

Only minor criticism I have with the documentary, and it's not really a criticism.
It seems like this was supposed to be a documentary for the 213 group and by the second act it just turns into a straight up west coast g funk documentary.
