Gallbladder removal

Gallbladder functioning abnormally according to my doc, I never had surgery so how would a cleanse fix the pain? Been in the hospital for over a week and I had sickle cell pain along with gallbladder pain in my sides, the sickle cell went away but the gallbladder pain remained. Once I began to eat again, I had a couple bowel movements and I feel much better.

I want to do a to maybe avoid surgery. Anyone know how effective gallstone removal is?
