You know how some long-running anime reach a point where they only start adapting like 0.8 chapters with added filler per 23-minute episode (DBZ, One Piece)?

That’s basically what the FFVII Remake is. The game is split into 3 episodes and they’re stretched out something serious

It’s still fun to play because of the combat system, production values, etc. But it can feel like a drag to get through certain sections

FF3 America.. SNES? The first was legendary as well.
And they are soo different than the later games that if you don't like the OG's then you don't like Final Fantasy

I grew up Nintendo so I didn't get to play final fantasy. Got what was released in DS and Nintendo switch , but the way this Backlog looking... ain't no telling when I'ma be able to play them?

But what I found is that final fantasy needed this. Just like there was a big backlash with 16 being too action focused.

Every few console generations Square Enix drops a ff game that changes the paradigm of the series, upsetting older fans of the series.

FFX is not in my top 10 but I will concede it being the best Final Fantasy.

You should try playing Zodiac Age Ff12 if you thought FFX was some BS , it’s in my top 5.
