Despite rumors of a possible reunion, it's been nearly a decade since fans last saw 50 Cent and Game*share a mic. Now, in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal (via HHNM),*Game's manager says that he working to get the G-Unit team back together.

Dontay "Taydoe" Kidd revealed to Lee Hawkins that he has been working with Game and 50 Cent in an attempt to reunite the Compton emcee with his former G-Unit partners. Kidd said that while nothing is finalized yet, he believes that Game and Fif see the business sense in agreeing to a reunion.

"I can't say it'll happen, I can't it won't happen; however, from a business perspective, I'm gonna attempt to make [a reunion] happen," Kidd said. "I think it'll be a wise business move on both parts…I'm thinking about tours, I'm thinking about merchandise, I'm thinking about all these other things that [are] lacking in the industry, and this is the perfect timing for that…I can't really speak for 50, but I think they're both open; it's just a matter of approaching it in the right way. 50 understands that he needs Game to make a G-Unit push. Game understands that if it's gonna be a push, he needs to be involved and 50 needs to be involved…they both are business savvy. We know that 50's a businessman, we know that Game's a businessman. They understand that. So now, it's only their internal egos that would stop that from happening."

I don't buy it. 50 doesn't need Game....and Game doesn't need 50.

Besides, all this talk about "50 and Game seeing the business side" pretty much nulls the re-union, seeing that it's not genuine, but just a business move...and the fans would see right through it. Are old G-unit stans really gonna buy into this, after what went down with 50 and Game and what they said to each other?

G-unit will never be what it was at it's peak, which was when Game joined and was riding with them. People just need to let this go.

Curtis takes everything personal, so there is no way they ever come to a middle ground for this to happen.

Also, it's a novel idea that no one will really give a shyt about 30 minutes after it happens.

Co-sign all of this. Let it be and keep it moving.

:heh: @ this being being 'perfect timing' ...Game's now a sub-100K first week selling artist and 50 can't even get a release date...if Eminem and Maroon 5 can't carry 50 to a hit re cord, what part of 50 + Game = success? :pachaha: ...from a business standpoint it would've MAYBE made sense maybe 5 years ago..now, they'd just look silly and no real fukks would be given to make it worth it

If it wasnt for curtis,Game would have been on a no named record label after Dre dropped him..

He was sittin on Dr.Dre's shelf for a loooong time...

I think 50 was putting more energy into Game's project than Dre was

I can understand 50's way of thinkin...

Boundaries gotta be set when you feel someone does you wrong...
