Gamestop is getting raped on these promos with people buying and trading in games

Dude took $150 to Walmart and bought 6 games. Traded them in to Gamestop on a promo for 60% extra on 6 games then used that trade in credit on a buy 2 get one free promo for 6 games at Gamestop. Traded those games back in to them and did it again and in the end he turned $150 out of pocket into $500.

Yep, I have taken advantage of it myself the past few times.

Gamestop really needs to change their business model fast before they go under. The sad thing is that I do think it can be changed as GameStop is a very big name in the gaming industry, but they need to move away from software ASAP.

Some of you guys on here got some real low level intellectual functioning.

An ID to trade in goods is to protect themselves AND people. If someone steals your whole VG system and library and turns up at GS and trades it in, ever think that would be helpful at all?
