GameFly out there like
You CANT be serious
If they haven't been quietly developing a streaming service these last few years they're idiots.
This playstation now shyt bout to be the netflix instant for video games dawg
So the market for PS1/2 and eventually PS3 games is something gamers are waiting to pay for now

I was under thee impression to avoid getting an xbox, you guys would cop a PC for things like Titanfall/etc.
I hear those same devices have emulators that can run everything from PS1-2 no problem.. for free
PS3 games will be emulated soon enough if not already. I guess cuz its sony, you think its a good idea
Playstation Now is not only for Sony exclusives right? Like they'll be able to add multiplatform games for streaming too?
If they're doing all games then I just might cancel my Gamefly sub if it's worth it...
Let me make sure I'm understanding correctly. Gamefly is what you use if you wanted to rent a new game (or old)
And you are saying you will let that go so you can download Tekken 2

Gamefly >>> PS+ >>> PS-Now
New

Old

Ancient
You dont remember when sony was talking about having the ability to try and buy games and play them instantly without having to download anything?
This is what they were talking about people will pay to play streaming games through sonys remote servers. That basically cuts gamestop and any other retailer that sells games out of the market if this catches on properly.
For starters, Gamestop doesn't make a killing selling $1 PS2 games

Gaikai won't have every single game available, just the games they secure the rights to
There will be no Marvel vs Capcom 2 on there/etc. Plenty of others will not make the trip
PSnow is a service that you have to maintain. AS an xbox head more so, if they offered RIGHT NOW the ability to rent XB1/360 games for $15 a month. I wouldn't get it today. I have a backlog that goes back to the original Xbox. Spark is about to drop soon. Titanfall in two months. I still need to cop Fifa and 2K14, so much piff is dropping this year.
Literally the LAST thing I would be thinking about is paying to play games from 10yrs ago
I expect the same on PS4/etc. Its cool for those who would be considered "casual" gamers.
I guess the PSvita idea wasn't flying, so they had to expand their reach. Good Luck sony, but its a bad business move imo...
