What is Gaming For Good? GamingForGood.net is a platform where you can get games for donating to charity. All revenue goes directly to Save The Children's Paypal where we track the data to give points in return that the donors can use to unlock games (for example Steam keys). Games are donated by supporting developers and publishers. GamingForGood.net is an initiative that grew out of the Gaming For Good movement that started in the AtheneLive community.

Project Brief: Save the Children is working to reduce the number of malnutrition-related deaths among children under five and women in Ethiopia. ENGINE is the main preventive integrated nutrition project that contributes to this Save the Children impact on the life of Ethiopian Children. The community level interventions include promotion of: breastfeeding, consumption and increasing access to diversified foods for children 6-24 and pregnant and lactating women, Water, Hygiene, and Sanitation (WASH), and support vitamin A, iron folate and zinc supplementation months; nutrition-sensitive agricultural interventions: community-based learning in agriculture techniques such as homestead gardening for increased production and consumption of diverse foods especially vegetables, fruits, and crops such as beans and small livestock provision to improve household consumption and income. ENGINE provides seeds, tools, small livestock and trainings to small-holder farmers and vulnerable households with children under five. Beneficiary population: Based on the 2012 estimates, ENGINE targets to benefit 509,385, 1,293.053, and 1,880,805 0-24 months and 6-59 months children and women of reproductive age respectively. In addition, ENGINE will benefit 11,141 vulnerable households through its direct nutrition sensitive agriculture or livelihoods.
