I understand why some folks go with gas. You turn it on, give it few minutes, it's hot and ready to go. But, if I'm in situations where I might be pressed for time and I want a grill that can accommodate that, I'd go with a pellet grill/smoker. They take way less prep than getting a charcoal smoker/grill ready to go and they can do high enough temps where you can actually grill something like steaks and burgers.Get both
There's times where you're not gonna feel like going thru that whole process with charcoal
