Maybe this is better in the 2024 thread, but check this out, local and national connection, read these two things back to back

Maybe Paul can lean too hard into the Bill Maher kind of thing, like Peggy Noonan and a lot of "centrist" Democrats, but I read that first op ed, and thought about it, and then 2 hours later saw the second one. Obviously, these are local democrats with no national profile, but this is exactly what a lot of people think of when they hear Democrats, trying to block a fukking RODEO because of animal cruelty, despite it's approved by the Padres/Petco Park already.

Even fairly moderate people think these people have lost it! They take our rodeos, our cigarettes, we can't say this, can't say that.

Who is this for? Who is the voting block behind this?

How's it a strawman? Explain in detail
“This is not the time to be talking about legislation, we’re in the middle of a crisis.”

Operative word here:
Talking.

Person: speaker of the gouse

Speakers role: to facilitate discussion and passage of legislation

Setting: an interview to discuss his positions after being election speaker

and you somehow decided that the speaker of the house in an interview should not be expected to speak about legislation because he’s not going to pass it. :skip:

I didn't say that. I said the GOP isn't going to change their stance on guns..at. all.

Everything is in the name of a Trust, S-Corp or LLC.

I'm really trying to get to the same point before retirement.
It’s crazy how after seeing so much fukkery with guys like Clarence Thomas and Trump people still give conservatives the benefit of the doubt when it comes to them hiding money.

fukk that what do you have to hide? Why are you not willingly paying taxes like the rest of us have too? shyt even look at a Nadler on the Democrats side. A politicians hiding their finances should get them under extreme scrutiny.

Especially when the same guy made defunding the IRS a requirement for an aid package resulting in 26-90billion in losses.

Biden better veto that shyt though I think the senate will basically send it back down for him. Johnson would be out of his mind if he tried to tell Schumer he isn’t for Israel by sending that bill back to the house.

I don't like the sounds of this
If we thought he was reckless and lawless before trust he’ll be more reckless and lawless the second time. He’ll break the country and ensure himself a third term, if not outright cancel the election. Their the modern confederacy
