There is an implication that Zelensky is coming for arms and doesn't want peace, and that in itself is a Trump/Russia lie and bullshyt.

Does he need American help? Yes. Does he need American as a protector? Yes. If America says no, then fine, he will need to find a new protector and hope the EU steps up, because ultimately any lasting peace between Russia and the Ukraine, will need safeguards that Russia isn't going to decide to invade again after a couple of months, and America was clearly setting this shyt up to allow Russia that option.
