i'm not a 6 figure, 6 cert breh. im just an average dude who goes to work 5 days a week, and pays for health insurance. all this bill does to me is cut my taxes

so while i'll still vote against the republicans who passed it, i have to question how well Dems can sell this bill as some kind of middle class apocalypse. if i'm being honest, i don't see it

this is not a realistic approach to this. it is not going to negatively affect 99% of this country. if you think squeezed voters are gonna eschew a child tax credit over what it "might do to society".....good luck

the american electorate is selfish and ill informed. Democrats are far too complacent about the middle class flocking to vote Democrat, over a few million poor people (who may or may not even vote) losing their medicaid, and illegal immigrants getting deported

poor people losing medicaid are an actual marginalized group, unlike the fake ones frequently touted here. but i just don't see an exodus from republicans, for their sake
