Geno Smith blasts 'coward' Rex Ryan after game

Geno Smith's first game as the Giants starting quarterback resulted in a 24-17 loss to the Raiders. Smith played well enough to have the Giants in position to win - he lost two fumbles but didn't throw an interception.

He used that performance as justification to take a shot at his former coach with the Jets, Rex Ryan.

In his postgame press conference, Smith fired back at Ryan for calling Eli Manning's benching a " slap in the face."

Smith said after offering words of support for head coach Ben McAdoo:

"I did see one of my ex-coaches say he didn't want me to be his quarterback. That really upset me. The guy that we saved his job in 2013. We fought our ass for him both years. For him to come out and say that shows how much of a coward he is."

It was clear that Smith was talking about Ryan, and he confirmed as much when asked in a follow-up question, saying Ryan's name.

Get that fat fukk Geno :whoo:

Case Keenum and Geno's careers basically mirror each other until Geno got sucker punched and had the most talented team he was ever on taken away from him by a crappy white journeyman (WHO STILL HAS A JOB). Case kept getting chance after chance and, surprise, you put a guy on a team loaded with talent, and he's a good NFL QB.

Geno can be a good QB in the right situation. I were him, I'd look into Jacksonville or Denver or the Dolphins or something. A team that can bouy him and help him feel comfortable and know that he can just go out and play and doesn't have to play picture perfect.

This whole thing was a farce.

Wrong thread but fukk it imma leave it here lol

TYRONE GA!
He's not trash but he's not good either. However, he deserves an opportunity to show what he can do.

When has he had the talent around him to be given the chance?

You hear all the other excuses made for other QBs with lack of weapons, poor oline, coaching, etc but all of this gets thrown out the window when it comes to shytting on Geno.

Yeah I saw a lot of tweets/articles from news outlets misquoting Geno yesterday. The headlines read Geno: "I saved his job" instead of Geno: "We saved his job" to paint him as selfish and ungrateful.

Coincidence? :mjpls:
