Do you agree or disagree? State your reasons.

Here are Geno's stats before and after his wee 8 Buffalo benching (STOLEN from Can'tWait! Ganggreenation.com's fantastic article). The charts below tabulate Geno's stats between week 8 and 16 of the 2014 season:

^This chart shows that Geno improved his QB rating, accuracy percentage and yards per air attempt to top 10 QB levels between week 8 and 16 respectively. Top 15 QB?

In this chart Geno's deep passing accuracy percentage jumps back to 7th in the NFL, which might be where his deep passing accuracy stays around since he was around 7th in deep passing accuracy during his rookie year. Top 10 QB?

After his benching Geno dealt with about the same percentage of pressure as before except he threw for more completions and his accuracy rate under pressure rose from dead last to 12th. Top 15 QB?

Geno held onto the ball the same as always but was simply more effective. Top 15 QB?

He finished the season well, carved the pats up. :manny:

Top 15, probably not but he could certainly be serviceable

to be a top 15 qb you need to throw a bit more TDs than picks, for starters

Geno's 2nd half splits show a lot of progress, but they're also heavily skewed by the last game of the season

This is true but you also have to include Geno's week 10 Miami game as he only threw a paltry 13 times and accordingly logged an absurdly low 35.7 QB rating . Taking out both his Week 10 and Week 16 outlier games, Geno's QB rating is a consistent 86 which is good enough for 20th in the NFL and about Colin Kaepernick's level. Add in Chan Gailey, who has a record of increasing QB performance, and Geno is (conservatively) a top 15 QB. I think Geno's pocket presence is permanently improved and Marshall as well as Devin will bring his deep ball accuracy back to top 10 mode. If these things come to pass, Geno will probably be better than 15.

I can't believe some Jets fans are falling for this end of the season shyt again with this guy...

He's done this last 4 games of the season turn around shyt two season in a row now...This has more to do with opposing defenses playing lax than Geno improving...

If I was the Jets coach this fool has a three game leash this season...
