Riding roller coasters? Really, any thrill ride at an amusement park....well, barring the bungee-style rides? If you are normally afraid but visit a park with your lady friend, do you suck it up and accompany her on the ride anyway as to not appear afraid?

I'm just asking out of curiosity.

I was trying to plan a family trip to a local amusement park and, at their price of $70 plus tax a head for admission, I got to thinking that, for that price, no one in my party could afford to be afraid of riding anything there.

Lastly, I wanted to specify I mean established amusement parks and not traveling fairs. I'm honestly not surprised at anyone being afraid to ride a coaster that was assembled in 24-48 hours....actually, any ride at a fair for that matter.

Never been to an amusement park with a woman I was dating but I am scared of heights too.

My sister told me a trick is just close your eyes.

I ride all the rollercoasters. Paid for someone who was scared. Didn’t know about their fear until we approached the first coaster. Best believe I coaxed they ass on everything I went on. They thanked me at the end for helping them get over their fear of heights.

They knew they were already scared of coasters before you dropped money for the ticket and said nothing...at least you made sure your money didn't end up going to waste!

i'm fine with a rollercoaster, that bungee shyt is dumb though.

i also don't trust a carnival ride.

but if it a roller coaster at six flags/disney type park then it's generally very safe. like probably safer than riding in a car.

also this shyt is stupid:

i don't need that type of cheap thrill.
