You start off wrong by basing all of your angst on rumors. The only facts about this movie is that it will have Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Alfred and Lex Luthor in it. The script was written by Goyer and it is getting a re-write by the dude who wrote Argo and re-writes on scripts is not a sign of a problem, every script goes through re-writes. Snyder is directing and Geoff Johns is an exec producer.
All that stuff about Cyborg, Green Lantern and whatnot is rumor and speculation.
And the reason people keep saying that "WB doesn't gave to follow Marvel" is because these threads always boil down to somebody saying that introducing characters in a sequel us wrong and every JL member should have their own morgue first which is the Marvel model.

That's the problem. Dudes really need to learn to differentiate between fact and rumor. Until a studio comes out and says it or until you hear it from a great great source that you trust or better yet, until you see a frame of the film, let rumors be rumors and take them with a grain of salt as you always should.

honestly how much input did nolan have in the first superman movie?

He and David Goyer came up with the story and wrote the first draft together and then it was rewritten by his brother I think

not much then

IDK breh that's a lot of involvement. Breaking the story, producing, and overseeing what your flesh and blood rewrote is a big deal. Now as far as direction goes, that's all on Zack Snyder but he did handpick Snyder to direct it also

if he was only involved in the writing process he can do that as well for the second one

the writing process is important but its up to the director to get the most out of it

either way i expect this next superman movie to bust

Word. I think he's out of this one entirely though. WB have given Goyer the keys to the kingdom

He only came up with the story, however that didn't stop WB from attaching his "name/brand" to Man of Steel during the film's pre-release and marketing campaign and subsequently try to palm it off as his work. :mjpls:. Once them medicore reviews came in, Nolan ws like  and his "name/brand" was removed from faster than Usain Bolt running a 100M sprint :whew:.

No but him leaving over creative differences aint a good sign, especially given all the other fukkery.

Whoa whoa who said he left over creative differences? Did I miss that or that's just conjecture? From what I remember, he was going to Godfather this movie and that was it. He didn't want to be a part of their universe creation flicks outside of this because he came up with the story so I wouldn't say creative differences as much as its a man wanting to move on and do something different with his life. He's been involved in the superhero business for about a decade at this point

Edit: And if he was indeed against Superman killing Zod, which I've heard and which his brother spoke on, then he should be mad at his brother Jonathan because he says it was his idea and eventually he and David sold Chris on it.
