1. Ignored warnings from intelligence agencies about 9/11. Bin laden had already attacked NYC in the 90s and was actively threatening America.

2. Ushers in the security state with the DHS and empowered airport agents to basically molest you whenever you want to get a flight.

3. Destroyed Iraq and essentially created ISIS as a result which went on to kill thousands world wide and inspire domestic shooters here.

4. Failed to utilize FEMA to help residents in Louisiana until a lot of people had died.

5. Made a big deal out of illegal immigration and gave future Republicans the game plan for stoking paranoia about this shyt so they don't have to talk about issues like healthcare, fair wages, or housing.

6. Failed to regulate wall street then bailed them out during his last term after they fukked up the global economy.


Donald Trump still has time to outdo Bush as the worst president of my lifetime but I think he gets off WAY too easy.

He also sold out the people in favor of big businesses and the medical industry with tort reforms. If you go in for a medical procedure and you get harmed due to malpractice, they now have caps in how much compensation you can receive. In some cases you can't even sue, you have to go directly to arbitration and most arbiters decide in favor of the big business/hospital. In some states it's written into user agreements via clauses that if you use their service/medical care, you are waiving your right to sue in case you get harmed/mandatory arbitration.

I'm old enough to remember when tort reforms were a topic, and pro Bush channels like Fox News were saying frivolous lawsuits were mostly coming from blue states, and that frivolous lawsuits are a "left thing" that's how they sold it to Bush supporters, they ate it up, fast forward decades later and these same supporters are getting f*cked by Bush tort reform policies.
