Heather Lind, 34, who starred in AMC's series 'Turn: Washington's Spies', made the allegations against the 93-year-old former president on Instagram in a lengthy post with accompanying photos.

'When I got the chance to meet George H. W. Bush four years ago to promote a historical television show I was working on, he sexually assaulted me while I was posing for a similar photo. He didn't shake my hand. He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side. He told me a dirty joke,' Lind alleges.

I mean, if someone can't tell how to properly conduct themselves with women, or people, in general, they deserve to be checked and the consequences. And, if that pushback is what it takes for women to be more comfortable, safe, and secure, than, so be it.

Give me a fukking break man. She calls that sexual assault? A decrepit old man maybe copping a feel is assault now?

If that's assault, what do we call women who suffer real sexual assault?

"Sexual assault" (one definition) is groping without consent, it may be a little overheated, (in this case) but that's sexual assault/harassment, no other interpretation. No way around it. It's unacceptable for anyone to be touching anyone without permission in that way.

I try to tell my friends/colleagues that they better not be placing themselves in these ambiguous situations. Lot of people get way too comfortable with casual flirting in the office. Those days are passing by.
Those days are OVER and been over fam

I keep it 100% business with everyone at my job. One because I don't need any new friends but primarily because I've seen wayyyyy too many cats get called in by the EEO Officer since I been working and every single time it's because a motherfukker (of various racial or ethnic backgrounds mind you) got too familiar or started barking up the wrong tree when it comes to female co-workers.

Work is for work and...occasional loafing on The Coli...but PRIMARILY...work is for WORK....

Be safe out there ya'll. For every anecdotal story you hear about a dude getting some buns at work or people falling in love and getting married, I assure you there are many more about a dude getting suspended or canned.

I get that, but one major issue that is so telling about sexism, is men feeling they can't talk with women, or have closed door meetings, without sexually harassing them, says a lot about men's inherent sexism, or need to strip that aspect of their socialization. Not at you, at all, just using your post. Flirting is a mutual, consensual activity, like sex, and men should be able to tell the difference between one sided advances and flirting. The problem is many men see it as their right as "men" to sexually aggressive, suggestive remarks to women.

Point being, you shouldn't get in trouble, if you aren't doing something wrong, in these cases.
