Hold up. Say what you want about George but he's the creator, he's the father of Star Wars. Yes he's not directing or producing anymore but at the bare miminum even if he sold the company, it's his story. So he gave Disney some treatments or outlines or whatever, then they should at least follow those for these 1st films and then after that they can make the Star Wars stories. I like JJ and the film looks great thus far. But why would they throw out Lucas, The creator's ideas for where to go POST Return of the Jedi? Doesn't make sense.

What makes this any different than "Fan Fiction"? If they are following Lucas's outlines than you can say, "Sure it's JJ's film but he's following what Lucas wrote". By them making up their own story they while disregarding the creator's story, I can't cosign that. So I'm going to wait and see what JJ has to say about what was and wasn't used by Lucas. Remember Lucas knows the story better than anyone.

How does JJ Abrams or Disney know Star Wars Story Better than George Lucas? We've waited 30 years to know what Happens AFTER "Return of the Jedi". In the last 30 years we've had writers after writers in comic books, video games and books tell us what happen. Now for the last 2 years we thought were were FINALLY getting what LUCAS the creator thought only to be told, "Nope we made up our own story". Well I ask again, what's different than the EU? It's still not from Lucas.

Aside from Padme's lame reason for dying, I think the stories in themselves for the prequels were fine. Lucas' sorry directing and dialouge brought them down. He had good actors looking like wood figurines.
