It's just in the middle of downtown right by 5 Points. Lot of white folks don't want to send they kids there. So G State was trying to grow and they just geared shyt to us I guess. I think GA Regents Board made a concerted effort to write GSU off as a Black school and make Kennesaw State out in Cobb the white alternative. shyt worked too cuz I remember when it was just a commuter school basically. Now it's pretty much the largest HBCU in the city. They still got a lot of white folks tho. But I'd say it's probably about half minority. Which is still a lot considering how big the school is. shyt is basically the entire SE side of downtown now. They even just bought the Braves old stadium.
