i despise the direction western culture is going and i was born here. does it mean i never integrated?


i agree with the learning the language part though. shouldn't even have to force anybody to do that. people who go to any country should already have the mindset of wanting to learn the language asap.

Dont agree with this at all. Western culture is a poison that most of these people will be better off without. They dont want to leave their home countries; but are refugees escaping wars encouraged by the west & extreme poverty.

So what if they choose to speak their own language & stick to their own communities. Do you blame them?

Is it not more poisonous to blindly follow a mythical creature in the sky that dictates every aspect of your life?

Refugees get more leeway as they were forced to move. But if you were a refugee, wouldn't you be grateful to the new host country for providing you safety and opportunity? Shouldn't you repay that debt to society by becoming a part of that society?

For voluntary immigrants, I think assimilation is the #1 priority. Assimilation DOES NOT MEAN that you give up your previous customs. It means that you adapt them to fit the mold of your new society. It means you came to a new place to learn and be a part of that new place. Whats the point of moving to a new country if you don't take part in any of that new countries customs/culture?

but if someone goes to a country knowing that their beliefs are going to be frowned upon and that its going to limit how far they can get ahead in life it's they're own fault and should have sought other options


on the other hand if you have idiots running your country and just letting anybody come into the country in droves you are part of the problem
