And Tank was aware of that as well.....
He realizes that Mayweather Promotions is not as generous as when Al Haymon was handling the Promotion.side which is.responsible.for the payout...
But is still thankful for having Al as a.manager who still makes sure he has his best interests at hand in terms of visibility on PBC (Showtime..NBC) and obtaining bouts...

till i had the fortunate opportunity to meet with a Haymon representive at a PBC event during a Wilder bout in Alabama some years ago....
and it cleard up alot of confusion as to what role Haymon and Mayweather play in regards to promotion and managing....
and so was many in the boxing world until Haymon was able to clear his name during the lawsuit trail brought forth by Oscar De La Hoya and Bernard Hopkins of GOLDEN BOY BOXING
which tried to allege that Haymon was playing the part of promoter and boxer at the same time.....which wasn't the case at all...because Haymon's PBC brand utilizes a number of promoters and even worked with Golden Boy in the past to place boxers on television
so you see my friend it isn't TMT that put TANK on that televised PPV undercard
it was and it is ALWAYS HAYMON'S PBC (premier boxing champions) that has the TV plug which it obtained via the 400 million dollar hedge fund investment that Mr. Haymon utilized well to BUY TIME on various networks for fighters VISIBILITY....
Al being Al has unfortunatly had to blur the line once in a while as a promoter because of TMT's underachieving activities as a promoter..

i go home after an 8 hour day relieved that somebody isn't giving me a concussion after repeated blows to the head
so i can truly appreciate the sacrifice they make on thier bodies for OUR ENTERTAINMENT........

@ChocolateGiddyUp is absolutely right...There's no problem with what Tank got for pay...shyt IMO it should prolly be a little less since he lost his belt on the scales in his previous fight...he's a young fighter....he has to learn to EARN his money and know that he can't coast like a good amount of PBC/Haymon fighters are doing right now...they got paid and are either too risk adverse and/or complacent to fight like they should

I typically enjoy the OP's post, but when it comes to boxing, I feel the guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
That is a great payday for someone that fights at 130. If he's looking for bigger paydays, he needs to go where the money is at.
