Problem is he's massively limited outside of 'roasting'. He is what battle rap is to mainstream rap: a niche that a few people out the culture fukk with. He's not funny enough to go mainstream or clever enough to go the Dave Chapelle- cerebral comedy route.
Even in the white world, 'roasters' take a back seat to the polished stand up comedians/comedic actors. Jeff Ross pops up every 2/3 years when Comedy Central decides to do a roast. Tony Hinchcliffe had to go the independent YouTube route where essentially is a glorified open mic host, usually surrounded by a panel, in order to have success. Who has seen either of their stand up's?
In reality, they're is no substantial market for strictly Roast Comedians.
Even among the ADD crew, c00n ass David Lucas was able to branch off into appeasing Cac humor with roasting in his back pocket for hecklers. CP was able to use his high energy and wit to move into TV projects and still does good on the road. Even Billy used his suspect energy to transition into radio and touring. Those 3 are funny (to their audience) guys that happen to roast, Kraig (and Boo to an extent) is a roaster who tries to be funny
