They first announced that this teacher got shot and killed here on the local news on Monday. Came out with the story of he was a beloved teacher, and lots of people will miss him. Grief counselors at the school, the whole 9. There was no inkling that he was involved in this mess when they first announced he was missing/dead.

Now, with the actual story coming out, Im sure all that will be changing. As people said, dude and his brother might have put their families in danger over a pretty small amount of drugs and cash. I know you aint gear up with bulletproof gear to go get $7k. And Union county where he taught is mostly white, so he was probably selling to his students/ other faculty on campus.

Also, NC is a heavy Mexican state for those who arent familiar. Also, there are 4 major interstates that flow through NC, so you can move alot of stuff through this state in short time.

Last, to the people who asked why the police stay arresting Black drug dealers and not these Mexicans: the answer is in this story. Black drug dealers ALLOW themselves to be arrested. They aint busting their guns at these cops/others like the cartel. These dudes got the artillery to go through bulletproof vests and gear. The police aint fukking with those groups. Sinaloa New Generation Cartel? This is sloppy and sensational reporting. The stash houses are stash houses by drug traffickers, who likely work with Mexican trafficking networks. it's not like Mencho's inner circle were in that trailer.

Two 18 year old stash house workers who probably didn't even own the single kilo inside. Maybe they just hit at the wrong time. To use GPS trackers and come up with 1,000 grams and 7,000 dollars is just sad. Fascinating story and thanks for posting though, I would have never seen this otherwise.

They expanded from Atlanta. Once Atl got too hot for the shot callers to be in city, they moved to the Carolinas and left the movers in Atlanta.
