Get mad if you want but XBoX One needs to improve

The question is what does the xbox one need to do to begin to compete with the playstation 4? We all know worldwide PS4 will win the sales market but what is it that the xbox needs to do to win America and the UK.

This isn't a bash thread it's a help the xbox one improve past this current status of being a flop...

If you know of ways to improve the xbox one experience post it. If you know about something on the way state it. But so far seems like the xbox is failing I get on craigslist and 10 people are selling the system yet no one is selling any PS4s.

The next generation needs competition and so far there isn't any.

people don't like having something that is considered weaker compared to the competition.

if they drop the price too fast, it will backfire as people will see it as desperation and/or more inferiority

Social media and the internet constantly pointing out the differences in power/resolution/framerate is another killer.

PS Plus > Live

all the advantages the Xbox brand had are gone this gen. I dunno what they can do. Sure they can release games and cats will definitely cop for a Halo 5 and Gears 4, but by the time those release, PS4 sales will at a minimum be double of the Xbox one sales. There is nothing they can do to pass the PS4 globally or even in the UK at this point. There's still slight hope here in the states, but it's just that, SLIGHT. TF didn't do it, so it's up to Halo 5 if it drops. Even then, I don't think it will be enough.

All MS needs to do is just make sure the platform will be profitable, and as long as they do that, it'll be a concellation win in that regards which is all you can ask for.

I'd never thought I'd see the day PS+ would be beating LIVE. That was basically 360's selling point.

It can only be the games...thats it. Titanfall isn't gonna cut it. LOL I don't own a PS4 or XB1 and I see absolutely no point in coppin a XB1 ever.

PS+ has been shyttin' on Live for years now. And for anybody that says the PS3 had it worse than the 360 at the start of last gen that was only true to a certain extent. THe PS3 still had advantages in blu-ray, blutooth aka no batteries, wifi out the box no-addons, easy access to the system, free online and later PS+. What can M$ bring to the table with the XB1 that Sony doesn't have besides hardcore fanbros that only want to play Gears/Halo/COD?

Xbox 360 won in America and the UK not because of the system itself, but more so because of Sony's early mistakes with the PS3. Now, with the better price, better system and PS+, there is pretty much no way the Xbox One will catch up with the PS4 in the U.S or UK unless Sony fukks up. Then look at the fact that Microsoft is launching in all them other countries in September, almost a full year after launch. Microsoft just really dropped the ball with the Xbox One.

i coulda bought the xbox one console package with need for speed rivals and a few downloaded games for 340$ on craigslist but passed..they should make xbox live free for starters

it's been a money maker for them without them giving you much in return. Even now that they are kinda being forced to give you more in return because of PS Plus, they're still being stingy. They started this pay for multiplayer shyt on consoles trying to sell the "value" (which was a cyse from the jump IMO) and now that others are using that strategy giving you more in return, they look like fools.

This is the pure and simple truth. The Xbox 360 was a success but only because the competition faltered. Microsoft's biggest mistake was not realizing that and continuing down the same road while Sony put in massive work to restore their brand.

One thing for sure the Kinect should not be dropped. M$ would be silly too. M$ just have to undercut the PS4 price or match it with the Kinect intact. I still think that won't work tho. Because really what is the X1 without the Kinect? I will tell u wat it is. It's just a slightly better 360
