This dumb bytch made the slowest u-turn with 0 regard for oncoming traffic and then braked I had my foot on the brake (I should've braked earlier) expecting her to see oncoming traffic and not proceed with her u-turn.

A dashcam is a must have for every vehicle. They're cheap (less than a $100 for a decent dashcam and SD card) and are well worth the investment.

Tips:

1. If you're ever in an accident and want to quickly write down a plate, use your finger to write the license plate on your window. Any type of condensation (like breathing onto the window) will make the smudges visible.

2. Another method of quickly noting a license plate (if you have a dashcam) is to say the vehicle details (license plate, color, make, model) out loud.

Edit: There was light showers (hence why you can see my wipers on), so my car was sliding while braking.

I had right of way on a green light. You can't just make a u-turn with no regard to oncoming traffic and then brake right after. There are certain cases where you rear end somebody without it being your fault (although it is relatively rare)
