I’m in NC, they don’t care what the driver in front of you was doing, if you hit from behind it’s your fault point. blank. period

All you can do is beep your horn aggressively and cuss a broad out at the top of your lungs in this situation, that’s why defensive driving is so important cause you would’ve been at fault if you would’ve hit her, in NC at least

yeah I’m not saying it’s always the case but if you hit someone’s car squarely from the back…there’s a very likely chance the offending driver was tailgating or in this instance speeding to the point of not having enough time to properly brake

yeah I’m not saying it’s always the case but if you hit someone’s car squarely from the back…there’s a very likely chance the offending driver was tailgating or in this instance speeding to the point of not having enough time to properly brake

I was going about 3 miles above the speed limit, I wouldn't consider that speeding.
