Regardless of what is listed here, you do NOT need a degree to get this job but you are required to have competency with Math (Geometry and Algebra)......

A Trainee completes classroom training on program rules, general building science practices and Next Step Living protocols and procedures. Then they shadow a Home Energy Advisor Team in the process of conducting routine home assessments for up to four additional weeks.

You gotta network man. A lot of cats I know that have good jobs with no creds got hired due to a friend or something of that nature.

Not needed. That's the position I hold now, but I have 6 Certifications in the industry all gained through On-the-Job Training.

You should note that the position is actually for a Supervisor.....

Successful candidates will be responsible for leading a two person team, consisting of a Lead Home Energy Advisor and a Home Energy Technician

I lead a team of 5 Auditors and 3 teams of Installers. No degree.​

I say trade school as well. plumber, electrician, HVAC. All of those are gonna make some bread once u get thru.

Internships as well... you may find yourself with a position at the job full time, just depends how good and how hard you work for it.

No way you can just get an internship without education.

Your best bet is getting your commercial driver's license imo.
