I thought the carter 1 was as close to classic as wayne would get. it was like 4.5 outta 5 for me

from what i've heard of it, no one has anything to worry about.

the "classic" stamp is a misnomer anyway. theres no way anyone can judge that within 4 weeks of an album dropping.

I think it goes the other way around- people want shyt to be so good that they psyche themselves into thinkin' an album is gonna be the greatest piece of art they've heard in over 10 years. And if it falls short of that... then it's not a classic and is therefore wack to them.

True. I've learned to lower my expectations..lately the stuff I had no interest in is what turns out to be the dopest to me.
