so many similarities in terms of impact & un-intentional structure.

plus the were the most popular albums to come out of both coasts, and imo the best as well.

not saying im anywhere near the 1st person to make this connection, but im surprised that this connection isnt made more often.

Not sure how 400 Degreez fits in...but Ghetto D is def the Chronic

I would say Ghetto D is the Chronic and 400 Degreez is The Chronic 2001...

it wasnt really anything new but a reinvention/rebranding of the regional style with a whole new cast.

it wasnt really anything new but a reinvention/rebranding of the regional style with a whole new cast.

chronic 2001 wasnt really popular like that on a national street level.

plus it came out 7 years later when alot of people didnt really care for the follow-up anymore.
